A 1920s Smiths Crisps shop counter display jar. Advertising shop potato Crisps %%alt5%%
An original shop glass storage jar, Circa 1920’s. On the side of the jar is etched “Smiths Potato Crisps” and was used on a shop counter in the days when they were sold by weight and not in bags. It has a lift off lid that is etched with the "Smiths" logo. Some of the lettering has worn away on the lid, but still makes a very attractive, vintage storage jar for use, or display.

The condition is very good with minor nibbles to the rims of the jar and lid. These have been gained through use.

The height to the top of the lid is 10 inches or 25.5 centimeters, the diameter is 7 inches or 18 centimeters.
