A 1920s Record stem winding pocket watch.
A 1920s Record stem winding pocket watch.
Record was founded in 1903 and subsequently merged with several companies in 1916 to form Record Dreadnought Watch Co SA.
This particular watch has a high grade Swiss 17-jewel stem-winding movement with micro regulator which is working nicely. The movement is signed Record watch co, 17 jewels, Swiss made.
The watch itself measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and is the Cashier model made by the American Watch Case Company. The case has a screw on front and back and has nicely chased foliate detail to the back. The case is in nice condition. The movement is later although correct for the case ( possibly an honest repair )
The glass lens is in nice condition.
The signed double sunk dial is in nice condition.
The watch has blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
