A 1920s Record full hunter pocket watch.
A 1920s Record full hunter pocket watch.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped Record Watch Co, 15 jewels, 2 adjustments, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case has light surface marks from use and a few small "dings" to the front and back covers but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.
The winding crown pushes down to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.
The dial has an old repair between 4 & 5 o'clock although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
