A 16th Century Panelled Door carved oak panels
A lovely 16th century panelled door probably French depicting three saints - from left to right Saint Barbara , Saint Peter and Saint Paul. All of the saints are depicted in niche like panels surrounded by molded boarders and separated by two large split baluster turnings.
The door has a superb rich and dark patina and has sustained wood worm damage in areas as you would expect for timber of this age.
