Vintage 1950s Retro Wardrobe Armoire made by the high end designer maker Alfred Cox.
The Double wardrobe is in lovely mellow Honey Coloured Satin Walnut Veneers and has lovely 1950s vintage design with clean lines and angled flared side panels to the front and low flared angled solid wood legs.
Alfred cox was a mid century maker of hand crafted antique furniture that was originally sold by the leading quality department stores of the period such as heals,Harrods,etc

The wardrobe is one of the harder to find original 1950s pieces of bedroom furniture by Alfred cox.
With its strong iconic 1950s design it is a ideal piece. Being a double wardrobe it has excellent amount of very useful storage / hanging space with 2 hanging rails and a useful upper storage compartment box.
Alfred cox furniture was hand made by craftsmen when furniture was made using traditional methods of cabinet work.
The Condition well cared for pre owned pre used vintage condition, very clean throughout the satin walnut veneers being a lovely light Mellow amber colour.

The wardrobe was made designed to come apart split into 2 separate sections for easy moving / carrying upstairs etc.
