The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Rotary wings logo and it is all protected by an inner dust cover.
The watch measures 29mm wide excluding the winding crown and 29mm high excluding the lugs so it is really a mid-size watch which would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1952, together with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison… the Dennison Watch Case Company made cases for various watch manufacturers in the 20th Century. The case is in lovely condition and is free from any personal engraving.
The lens looks good to the naked eye, just a little light marking if viewed very closely.
The signed dial is in lovely condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
