A vintage 9CT Gold Gentleman's Wristwatch retailed by the Crown Jewellers, Garrard & Co Ltd. dating from c1977. The watch is complete with the original presentation case from Garrard & Co. Ltd.
The dial is in good unrestored condition (see photo) and signed by "Garrard, Automatic, Swiss Movement".
The Swiss made, 21 Jewel Automatic movement is in good condition and working order.
The inside of the case is hallmarked with the case maker's mark "DS&S" for D Shackman & Sons, the "crown" and ".375" for 9 carat gold alongside the Leopard's Head town mark and date letter "C" for 1977. Also the serial number 74787.
The watch has a 25 Year presentation inscription on the rear of the case "AC Delco Division of General Motors Ltd, Presented to CP Musgrove for 25 Years Service, 1953-1978".
A nice interesting watch in very good overall condition and working order.
