A good quality, vintage, 9CT Gold, Swiss made, Bernex Wristwatch dating from c1946.
The British made, 9ct solid gold watch case is in good condition. It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "GAS" alongside "9" and ".375" for 9 carat gold, the Chester town mark and date letter "v" for 1946/47.
The Swiss made, 15 Jewel, Bernex No3 mechanical movement is in good working order.
The dial signed with the maker's name "Bernex" above the retailer's name "James Carr, Aberdeen".
