A 9 carat gold Helvetia wrist watch.
The watch has a jewelled hand-winding movement, signed Helvetia, which is working nicely. This is the calibre 82C.
The watch itself measures 25.5mm wide excluding the winding crown, and 32mm high excluding the lugs… it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks on the back of the watch for Glasgow (import mark), 1926. The case has a couple of “dings” to the back but overall is in good condition for its age.
We have examined the watch carefully and feel that although everything sits together nicely, the movement and dial are probably later in date than the case.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has some marking but not too detrimental at all.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
