A rare and unusual set of five antique stone statues from before the 18th Century, c1700. They are primitively carved and have a great tribal look.

We believe they are Polynesian/Oceanic from the style, and clearly they have significant age. We have described them as pre-18th Century as it is notoriously difficult to date stone, but from the rubbing/wear they clearly appear to have had several hundred years of handling.

Overall condition is good, in line with age and use - with surface rubbing/wear that has given the stone a great rich colour/patina.

Sizes: 19 cm tall x 12 cm wide 10 x 8 17 x 6 14 x 7 15 x 11.
