2 Australian Aboriginal Boomerangs ,c1890-1920
Two late 19th /early 20th century Australian Aboriginal boomerangs,c1890-1920. The larger late 19th century example is nicely hand carved/chip cut and has great colour/patina. The second example is a little later around 1920.Again hand carved it has lovely primitive decoration with pictures of Emus, Birds, Kangaroos cut into the main body. On the rear it is inscribed but I cannot make it out fully , however it includes the words 'Good Luck' so presumably was a gift to someone. Overall condition for both is good. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me if you would like to view the item or have any questions.
