This lovely antique doll dates from approx. 1900. She has a pale bisque head of superb quality, and a fully jointed body with ball joints. Her arms, upper legs and ball joints are wooden and her hands, lower legs nad body are composition. Moulded into the back of her head is '1902 2'. We are unsure of the maker but we believe she may be by Ernst Heubach. She has blue glass sleeping eyes that are in good working order, an open mouth with upper teeth, rosy cheeks and painted facial features. She has a more modern light brown wig that has been nicely styled . She is wearing a vintage outfit and underclothes with vintage white leather shoes and a modern straw bonnet. She has small brooches in her hair and on the ribbon around her dress.

Condition Overall in good condition, with some playwear consistent with age and use. There is a chip on the inner rim of her head at the back with a small hairline crack. There are no other chips or cracks visible. She is overall a little grubby and would benefit from a careful clean. There is some paint loss to her eyelids and around her neck where it fits into his body. There is some glue residue around her wig. Her body and limbs are grubby and have some wear. There is some wear around her sockets and some cracking around her neck socket. There is some wear to her toes. Her clothing is mainly in good condition with some light wear and surface grubbiness. Her tights have some holing. Her shoes have some signs of repair.
