DESCRIPTION:
This is a super 20 drawer haberdashery counter. The counter dates from the 1950s and is constructed of an oak frame with beech drawers that are a stunning colour having mellowed over the years and are really set off against the oxidised copper pull handles, it stands on bracket legs to the front and block legs to the back. The Counter was manufactured by Hall Display Fitters 10 Woodhead Rd Sheffield. The counter has had a new laminated top fitted making it all good to go the whole counter is a stunning beautiful medium oak which has mellowed to the most beautiful colour and patina.
This piece of antique furniture would suit many settings both commercial or domestic and due to the stunning colour of the piece which does have a slight modern appearance would suit many a kitchen which we are seeing a lot being used for recently as well as office and craft rooms not forgetting cake and confectionery outlets who want to go back to a more inviting and original setting.

WORKSHOP REPORT:
This is a super cabinet and the sheer quality of the piece has made sure its managed to resist the test of time and is all in original condition except for the replacement glass top as the other due to use had become quite fogged other than that was all good.
