Superb Quality 19th cent. Coromandel Writing Slope cum Stationary Box. This wonderful Box is profusely inlaid with Brass,Abalone and Mother of Pearl,all the inlays are intact.The Stationary Box has all the original fitted interior and there are two original unmarked Silver topped Inkwells which sit each side. The Fall opens to reveal original Blue Leather lining and has four shaped storage shelves to interior. This Box has a self locking mechanism which operates automatically when closing the lid of the Stationary Box,see 'button' top back. Key provided.c.1850 English.37cms wide x 23cms deep x 26cms high.
