19th Century Tortoise Shell Thimble Box Thimble Box Knife
Gorgeous little 19th century tortoiseshell thimble box in the shape of a knife box. Perfect condition with no damage or repairs. White metal catch and plate to the top with bone veneers to the top edges inside. The hinges and catch are all tight. Really nice quality example. There is an exact one illustrated in the book "Antique Needlework Tools"
