19th century China trade leather and brass banded camphor wood trunk, with studded decoration, two carrying handles and brass nailed initials "JC" on top, unusually this trunk has two locks both of which are operated by the original key. In original condition with wear commensurate with its age. 1020mm wide, 540mm deep and 510mm high. Circa 1850. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
