19th Century carved oak cased stick barometer
Mid 19th Century carved oak cased stick barometer, the carved arched foliate cornice over twin angled scales for 10am yesterday and today, the base carved with an oval boss cartouche. The dial is marked with the makers “Moon JunR” and “West India Dock Rod” William Moon Jnr was registered as working between 1850 – 1870 from a premises on West India Dock Rd. The barometer is in very good condition and working order and has the original thermometer and turning knobs. Circa 1850.
