A stunning quality Mid 19th Cent. Coromandel fitted Sewing/Jewellery Box which also opens to become a writing Slope. The lining is all original,beautiful rich colour and has M O P Buttons. The Top is inlaid with Mother of Pearl and Abalone, which is also reflected in the Key Escutcheon.c. 1850.
