An impressive French Ormolu Box , hinged lid with oval Blue enamel Cartouche enclosing Electrotype image of Cottages and Garden with Dancing People, A Fiddler on a Barrel and Drinkers around a Table.The Box is decorated on all surfaces,including the Base.The Lid opens to reveal a purple Velvet lining and is impressed 'France'. 11.5cms x 8.7 x 4.5cms.c.1890-1900. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
