Early 19th Century French Mannequin, Dressmakers Dummy, Wasp Waist

The Mannequin or Tailors Dummy, dates from the mid 19th Century, as you will see by her, nowadays unusual, wasp waist shape. This charming young lady comes from the famous Magasins du Printemps Paris, as you can see she still has her original stand
The linen fabric of her body has darkened a little with age, there are no tears just a little wear here and there but this is just her unique character, the stand and other wood turnings are all in black wood
The Dummy stands approximately 64” tall, adjustable
