1970's Italian Vintage Travertine Sideboard
A magnificent vintage sideboard made from inlaid travertine. This was made in Italy, it dates from around the 1970-80’s.
The quality is superb, this is extremely impressive and well made. The carcass is actually made from wood plated with travertine and inlaid with gorgeous details made from brass and coloured polished stone. It is a great size and has lots of storage space inside.
The condition is excellent for its age, with some very minor wear and a few extremely shallow chips to the edges here and there. There is a small circular hole cut out from the back of the right hand cabinet, so cables can be fed through from electronic devices. It looks as if the back panel has been replaced and also this has had heavy duty casters added to the base, making it easier to move around once in place.
Care must be taken because when the sideboard is empty and all of the doors are opened at the same time, the sideboard can tip forwards. Once the sideboard has been filled with a few objects to weigh it down, it does not tip at all.

Depth – 46 cm , 18 inches
