1968 Omega Geneve Automatic
We have the pleasure of being able to offer for sale this very attractive Omega automatic wristwatch.
This gentlemans brushed stainless sweep second watch has a lovely silvered dial with an outer minute and an inner hour chapter marked with silver coloured Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions and silver coloured batons elsewhere. The dial is signed Omega Automatic, Geneve, Swiss Made and in an excellent condition. The dial is completed with the original steel hour, minute and second hands. All the hands like the dial are in an a very good to excellent condition. The watch is encapsulated beneath a good serviceable acrylic crystal. The case is in a very good condition with only minimal age related wear. Removal of the screw in back reveals that the inside of the case back is signed Omega within the Omega triangle and is marked Fab Suisse, Swiss Made, Inoxydable, 165.041. Removal of the case back also reveals the Cal 552 24 jewel automatic movement. The movement is signed Omega Watch Co Swiss, 24 Jewels, and carries the serial number 27159478 dating it to 1968. The movement is in an excellent condition having just returned from our watchmaker.
The watch case is just under 1 & 1/3 inches (33mm) in diameter excluding the original Omega signed crown and the watch is presented on a new black leather padded strap. This watch like all of our watches is being sold with a full twelve month warranty.
