1960s Vintage Hand Sewn Textile Art on Pink Silk
An original piece of 1960s fabric art entitled 'Flowers and Insects' with the artist's details hand written on the reverse. This is a charming mid century piece of embroidery and appliqué depicting stylised flowers and butterflies on a cerise silk background. It is presented in its original teak frame with hessian mount.
Dimensions: Width 53cm, Height 40cm, Depth 3cm.
The artist is Valmai Davies from the College of Art in Cardiff. The piece is in good vintage condition, with small signs of age. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
