A 1956 IWC Automatic wristwatch. A three piece stainless steel case with snap on case back. Case inner signed 'Staybrite Steel International Watch Co Swiss'. A silvered 'pie pan' dial with date aperture to 3 o'clock. Lume filled, silvered 'dauphine' hands, with slight loss of colouring to the hour hand. Applied 'pencil' hour markers. Original IWC winding crown. A rare calibre 8521 automatic mechanism.
