1953 silver Smiths pocket watch for J W Benson.
The watch has a Smiths b series 15-jewel stem-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1953 with a maker's mark for the Birmingham based case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just light surface marks from use, nothing too serious at all.
The watch glass is in good condition.
The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer of the watch, J W Benson, London. It is in very nice condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
