1950's Georgian Style Walnut Partners Desk

A very large and impressive figured walnut partners desk, in the antique Georgian style. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s period.
The quality is outstanding, this is extremely well built and is of great proportions. The knee hole is very wide to fit the largest of desk chairs, the inset leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, it is absolutely superb.
This desk has drawers on the front side with a double drawer in the bottom right, the back has two locking figured walnut panelled cabinets & the corners of the pedestals are all chamfered. It sits on ogee bracket feet, has beautiful brass handles and looks amazing from all sides.
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is very good for its age. There is just some minor wear and patina showing beneath the polish, adding to the character and charm.
