1950s De Havilland ephemera including photos
Here we have for sale a wonderful collection of ephemera relating to the De Havilland aircraft company all dated from the early 1950s, consisting of Hatfield Aeronatical Technical College Prospectus, A booklet on De Havilland engines, a Gas Turbine brochure and four original photographs dated from 1950 to 1952, the four photos are the following aircraft, the Venom, Vampire, Heron & Chipmunk.
The blue De Havilland booklet is on "De Havilland jet engines" and is a two part publication by E.S Moulet cheif engineer of the De Havilland engine company part 1 "The whys and wherefores of De Havilland turbine design" and part 2 "The development of the Goblin engine" printed at the Broadwater Press Welwyn Garden City.
The De Havilland short brochure is about gas turbine engines disusing the Ghost and Goblin engines and gives information on the aircraft that use these engines as well technical information.
All four photographs are stamped to the rear.
The De Havilland Aeronautical Technical School prospectus is dated spring 1952.
Condition report: In overall very good condition, there is a crease to the rear of the prospects, and a green mark on the rear of the gas turbine brochure, please contact me for additional images as eBay only allows 12 photos.
A fabulous collection of De Havilland related ephemera that is incredibly rare and would be a great addition to any aviation collection.
