We have for sale a very stylish mid 1950s Parker 51 Aerometric Fountain.

This Parker 51 fountain pen is in the very attractive burgundy with a short clip Lustraloy cap and dates from sometime around 1954 when the aerometric filling system was introduced. The barrel, shell and cap are all in an excellent vintage condition and bear the light signs of surface wear one would expect from a well looked after 60+ year old pen. The pen is fitted with a medium 14ct nib which like the pen itself is in a very good vintage condition. The pen fills and writes well.

The Parker 51 was first introduced in 1941 as a resilient, stylish and dependable pen. The first examples were fitted with the Vacumatic filling system, but this was upgraded in around 1954 to the much more sturdy plastic Pli-glass Aerometric filling system.

The pen is 38mm long.
