A 1948 Longines 14K gold 'tank' wristwatch. A high quality 14K gold case with stepped lugs and sides. A silvered dial with pencil baton markers subsidiary seconds dial. The marks to the mechanism on this watch indicates that it would have been made for the American market and handled by Longines Wittnauer. A manual wind 17 jewel caliber 22L mechanism stamped Longines LXW. Serial numbers date this watch to 1948.
