A 1944 Longines wristwatch. A 10K gold filled case with extended lugs and a curved front, signed to the inner ‘cased and timed in the USA by Longines’. A pink dial with gilt Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial to 6 o’clock. A good quality 17 jewel caliber 8LN mechanism by Longines, stamped to the backplate LXW. Serial numbers date this watch to circa 1944.
