1940s Luggage Scales scales Germany postal
A superb set of German railway luggage/postal scales. This set of scales are in lovely condition for their age and are in full working condition. They weigh in kilograms up-to 25 kg and have graduation lines for each 100 grams. The main structure of the scales are made from oak with the platform being steel. The dial is beautifully enamelled in white with black writing. During the 20th century these would have been a common sight on most railway platforms throughout the world, as the majority of post would have been sent and sorted at these locations. (Cases featured in the image are not included)
