1940s Limit curvex wrist watch.
Limit were importers of watches into the UK, and they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 20mm wide excluding the winding crown and 34mm high excluding the lugs, it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition with just light surface marks and some scratching to the back where it has been opened in the past.
The curved lens has a couple of minor marks, nothing serious at all.
The dial is signed Limit, it is in its original finish with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is a shade of discolouration and darkening but still very easy to read the time.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
