1940s Cyma military pocket watch
1940s Cyma military pocket watch.
The watch has a signed Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement, calibre 776, which is working nicely.
The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is chrome plated and there is quite a lot of marking and rubbing, in line with its age and probable history. The back of the watch has the military markings including the GSTP for General Service Time Piece and the military arrow, or pheon.
The glass lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has had the radium paint professionally removed from the numbers, markers and hands which now leaves a good clean appearance. The dial is in good condition, just a small mark on number 11.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
