1930s Moeris pocket watch / travelling clock
1930s Moeris pocket watch / travelling antique clock.
The watch has a good quality Moeris stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. Moeris was a well respected manufacturer, one of the companies used to supply the British military with watches.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in lovely condition. There is a thin gold rim running around the outside of the lens which is a handsome feature.
The glass lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes with its original leather covered case which transforms the watch into a travelling antique clock (or for a bedside or desk). The leather has aged beautifully and it has a most charming appearance. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
