A 1930s Hudson Watch Co pocket watch and chain.
The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement, 17 jewels, two adjustments, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Hudson Watch Co, a company that was first registered in 1884 by Antoine Castelberg of La Chaux-de-Fonds and New York.
The watch measures 45mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the Empress white gold filled model which was made in Canada by the American Watch Case Company. It is nicely detailed to the front and back and is in very nice condition.
The lens is glass and is in good condition, just one patch of grazing to the edge, not too noticeable to the naked eye.
The signed dial is in its original textured finish with very stylish hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes with a single chain and we believe it is probably original to the watch. The chain measures 35cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
