1930s Craftsman by Cyma pocket watch & chain.
1930s Craftsman by Cyma pocket watch & chain.
The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding movement, Cyma calibre 999, which is working well. The movement is stamped Craftsman 15 jewels, 3 adjustments, Swiss made and the Cyma calibre number.
The watch itself measures 50.9mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is nickel and is the Cuprel model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. Dennison made cases for various watch producers who imported Swiss movements and then cased them in readiness for eventual retail.
The case has light surface marking from use and a small "ding" to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.
The glass lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is signed Craftsman and is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes on a vintage chain with fob. The chain measures 27cm including the clasps.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
