Beautifully elegant 1930s Art Deco Ladies chrome Watch
Dial - the dial is a rectangular face with classic gold tone raised Arabic numeral hour markers and gold tone pointer hands. The brand stamp Bergisch is located in black just below the 12 marker and the 15 rubis stamp in black, just above the 6 marker.
Crystal - the crystal has a lovely classic convex high raised design that lends to the Art Deco style wonderfully. The crystal also acts as a magnifier to help the numeral and hands stand out better. The crystal is in a lovely condition with very minimal signs of wear. Please refer to my many images for a good visual of condition.
Pressure fit back plate - the back plate is stamped on the back with the following - Fond acier inoxcydable 7118. (The number 7118 refer to the case serial number). Stamped upon the inner of the back plate is the number 15. The back plate is also stamped upon the inner with the jewellers mark which reads E652H.
Movement - the movement is stamped with the following - Swiss made 15 jewels. The movement is a high quality clean Swiss movement that ticks away strongly.
The case - the case presents itself with a strong Art Deco design. The case also is in an excellent condition. The pressure fit back plate fits snugly to the case. The lugs that are fixed to the case are solid fixed lugs. Try are also strong and in good condition.
The strap - the strap is a very well suited silver tone prima empire clasp strap, complete with safety chain. The strap is stamped with the following upon the clasp - Prima Empire. The strap is in a superb condition and looks to have had very little use.
A truly outstanding, quality Swiss made elegant ladies Art Deco cocktail watch that sits upon the wrist very comfortably. The watch is sure to please its new owner guaranteed.
