1921 Waltham open faced pocket watch
A 1921 Waltham open faced pocket watch.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 24082057 dates it back to 1921. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Sun model from the Dennison Watch Case Company… the Sun was one of their better quality models, having 14ct gold plate, designed “to wear 25 years”. The back of the case has beautifully elaborate initials, SB or BS.
The watch glass is in good order.
The signed white enamel dial is in lovely condition, with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
