1920s Vertex Revue pocket watch, Wath on Dearne.
The watch has a signed 15-jewel calibre 31 stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific manufacturer of cases for various watch makers. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition.The inside of the case back has the name of a previous owner engraved on it, 'anno 1922, Alfred Bennett, 41 Burman Road, Wath on Derne, Yorkshire'.
The glass lens is in nice condition, just the odd light mark.
The signed dial is in nice condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
