1920s Renown pocket watch by Record Watch Co
A vintage 1920s Renown stem winding pocket watch by Record Dreadnought Watch Co.
The watch has a Swiss 7-jewel stem-winding movement which is working well... to wind the watch, you push the crown and wind. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover (there are a couple of scratches on this inner cover).
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated and overall is in good condition with just a couple of small “dings” to the back.
The watch glass is in good condition with just the odd small mark.
The signed dial is in nice condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The brand name Renown was registered by the Swiss company Record Dreadnought Watch Co SA in 1919.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
