1920s Limit No 2 full hunter pocket watch
1920s Limit No 2 full hunter pocket watch.
The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Limit name. Limit were importers of watches into the UK, and they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a little light scratching.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific manufacturer and supplier to various watch makers. The case is in good condition with just general light surface marks, nothing serious at all.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
