1920s Craven pocket watch and chain.
1920s Craven pocket watch and chain.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed Craven, 7 jewels, adjusted, Swiss made. The movement was made for Craven by the Datum watch factories. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 48.8mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in good condition, just light surface marking from use and a couple of slight indentations to the back.
The acrylic lens has minor marking from use although very acceptable.
The signed dial is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes with a decorative single chain, 29cm long. There is also a horseshoe compass fob although the compass is slightly worn.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
