Fourth Edition hardback in the original decorated cloth binding, map decorated front endpaper, complete copy with 50 full page mounted colour plates with tissue guards

Measures approx 10 x 7 inches

Some rubbing to top & bottom of spine & edges of spine with a couple of minor splits to cloth at rear outer hinge with board firmly attached, two faint vertical creases to cloth spine, corners bumped, couple of pages to front of book slightly proud at fore-edge, occasional tissue guard creased, two mounted plates creased to one corner, very occasional minor mark to text pages, minor wear to outer margin of half title

Overall a few faults but still in very good condition,

Binding has a clear removable covering that shows some reflections in images
