A pretty example of a Welsh Oak bible chest with drawer dating from the late 18th century. Of well figured quarter sawn timber, displaying superb colour with a wonderful skin.
In nice serviceable condition, with superficial shake/shrinkage split to one side as pictured, hinges are historic replacements, bracket feet possibly later.
A sweet little coffor of perfect size for storing magazines, DVDs etc or would make a perfect small coffee table.
