Pretty rounded lozenge shape South Staffordshire enamel snuff box with a lilac-blue ground and geometric pattern to the lid of diamonds in white, pale pink and lilac-blue. Additional decoration of raised white beaded borders, gilded dotted borders and painted dark green pattern to the centre and around the edge of the pink diamond.

It measures 5cm (2 1/2") long, 3cm (1 3/16") wide and 2cm (3/4") high. Condition is very good there is a small patch of over-painting to the base (the enamel underneath seems fine and no signs of repair inside) and the brass mount has been reattached to the base. Light surface wear and just a few fine hairlines in the enamel on the base.
