18thc.Silver Toddy Ladle with Repousse Bowl,inset into base is a Silver Gilt Coin,'Carolus.111.Dei.G 1778.'It has the traditional Whalebone Handle,there are no Silver Marks,quite common in these pieces.I believe it dates close to 1778 as per details on Coin.
It measures 35cms overall,and is in very good condition. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
