18th century lead Tobacco Pot. It is octagonal shaped, withfloral decorative borders. The lid is has a knob in the form of a womans head. The back has some damage to the lead (see photograph) Retaining some of its original red and gold line painted surface, it carries a real sense of the social life of 18th century life. Circa 1780
