Antique late 18C / early 19C Georgian inlaid walnut, mahogany, satin birch bureau bookcase desk.
This piece of antique furniture really has the look and makes a statement.
Replacement claret baize.
This is a rare and graceful piece of antique furniture.
Super colour, age and patina.
Some damaged veneer /inlay.....but it adds to the charm.
We are unsure whether the veneers and inlay on the front are a later 19C addition and quite a lot of other things may have been changed.....but it is still lovely.
This piece of furniture is not in perfect condition but is so charming and full of age and character.
All of the drawers work as they should.

This piece of furniture has some historical knocks, marks, repairs and alterations as one may expect given it's age. There is historical woodworm which we have treated for good measure. There is a curl on the fall front (see pictures). The bureau back has been replaced.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
