1896 English Lever pocket watch, R Kaiser, York.
The watch has a key-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped warranted English lever and numbered 3126209. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. A winding key is included.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1896 with a maker’s mark for the case maker William Ehrhardt, Time Works, Barr Street, Hockley, Birmingham & Hatton Garden, London . The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition for an 1890s piece.
The acrylic is in nice condition.
The white enamel dial is in nice condition and is signed with the retailers name R. Kaiser, York.
The watch has gold hands and blued steel sub seconds hand
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
