A super piece of Flemish work.this panel has everything!!
excellent carving in relief,superb detail and high end quality.Originally this panel would have come of a very elaborate piece of antique furniture,it is or II should say was the front of a draw.Dating the panel to the early/ mid 17th century, the central scroll is flanked with cherubs either side blowing horns attached to them are dogs and then mythical beasts which are wrapped around cherubs at each end.Old traces of polychrome through out the carving excellent
condition.
